Competence

Motley's has provided thousands of clients with well-written, well-documented appraisal reports. We pride ourselves on our research skills and accuracy. Our goal is to assign values to your objects that accurately reflect their value in the current marketplace. All appraisals conform to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP)

Cost

We know that time is money. Our very competitive pricing is the result of our experience and unparalleled level of efficiency. Free estimates can be provided for every project.

Customer Service

It's true that Motley's is in the appraisal business, but we also know that we're in the people business. We begin each appraisal by listening to your needs and responding to your questions.

We pride ourselves on our research skills and accuracy. Our research skills are regularly recognized by our clients. For example, Marc Robinson of the RTR Law Group, PLLC, recently stated, “The level of detail in the descriptions of each item by far exceeded my expectations. One could actually visualize each item based on the description alone.”

Other recent examples of our research skills include the identification of a set of four Gothic Revival chairs by the noted Philadelphia cabinet maker Crawford Riddell; the identification of an important late 18th century Valley of Virginia corner cupboard, along with a desk from the same workshop; and the confirmation of a $1,250,000 insurance value for a work of art.
